The premier firearms industry Shooting Hunting and Outdoor Trade Show held again Las Vegas was again a showcase of new hunting rifles. Most rifle manufacturers launch their new products at the annual show, but a few hold their new launches close to the vest until product is ready to ship. With that in mind, we dug a little deeper and found a few more that will be coming down the pike in 2026, too. Take a look at these gems and give us some feedback on the ones you want us to feature in Ballistics Best Hunting Rifle Roundup later this year.
Franklin Armory
At the heart of the new Prevail line is the all-new Total Round Control (TRC) Action. Franklin Armory’s TRC action is designed to control each round through the entire feeding and extraction cycle. The new design is the company’s deviation from traditional push-feed, like a Remington 700, or a controlled-round feed action found on Mauser-style rifles.

Options include carbon or fluted steel barrels. A carbon fiber stock with custom V-block bedding provides a stable interface between action and stock. It comes with a 20 MOA Picatinny scope mount rails and it’s AICS magazine compatible. Cartridge options include .308 Win, 6.5 Creed, 6.5 PRC and .300 WSM. MSRP has not yet been determined.

Other enhancements include new molded elastomer grip inserts, manufactured using 2K technology, which have a better surface texture for improved grip in the worst weather conditions. The Diamond Like Carbon A+ (DLC A+) coating of the barrel surface provides extra protection against corrosion and scratches. A height-adjustable comb is now standard and helps you achieve precise alignment in the shooting position at the push of a button.
“The R8 Professional 2.0 kit is an upgraded system for Blaser owners in the United States and, for added convenience, all existing R8 parts fit this newly designed stock and receiver,” Jason Evans, CEO, Blaser Group, said. “The hard case is also an attractive element of the new system for our customers who travel the globe to hunt and also those who hunt closer to home and value an improved storage option.”
Available in Black Brown and Dark Olive, three stock length options are available – 14.56 inch is standard, but customers can easily exchange for 13.97-inch or 15.35-inch length. Five different packages are offered through Blaser Premium Dealers from Rifle Only to a Rifle and Optics Package with QDC.

The Mountain Reaper’s carbon fiber stocks folds as well. 22-inch carbon wrapped barrel. Their own muzzle brake and a Trigger Tech trigger. The rifle’s action is cut away on the sides to give more grip access to the removable magazine. Forward of the mag well is a 90-degree cut that extends forward to a well positioned ARCA rail. This will lock into position on a barricade, or attach it securely to a tripod. M-LOK slots on the bottom and sides of the forend allow attachment of accessories such as a bipod.
The carbon fiber grip is hollow and incorporates thumb rests. The carbon fiber folding tubular stock attaches to the action via a hinge section, and above the tube rides an adjustable cheek piece. The lower part of the bare-essentials butt stock incorporates a bag rider section.
Fierce does all their carbon fiber work in house, including this rifle’s 18-, 20- or 22-inch stainless steel barrel tube. Barrel length corresponds to caliber choice. This rifle is customizable via Fierce Firearms’ web site.

Henry’s H9 Protector Carbine takes the proven .30-30 Winchester and packages it for modern defensive use. The 16.5-inch threaded barrel accepts suppressors, making it practical for ranch work or home defense. With a four-round tubular magazine and lever action, it’s quick on follow-up shots. The matte blued receiver won’t catch light, and the walnut stock provides solid purchase. At 6.59 pounds, it handles well in tight spaces. The receiver accepts optics, though the adjustable irons work fine for close work. Thread pitch accommodates common suppressor mounts. It’s compact enough for vehicle carry but still delivers the .30-30’s reliable terminal performance.
HENRY H9 Provider Rifle
The H9 Provider is a straightforward hunting rifle in .30-30 Winchester. The 20-inch barrel provides better velocity than carbine-length guns, and the six-round tubular magazine handles most hunting situations. No threaded muzzle here—this rifle is built for iron sights and traditional use.

The blued finish resists weather, and walnut furniture gives you something to hold onto in wet conditions. Weighing seven pounds, it carries comfortably and shoots steady offhand. The receiver takes scope mounts if you want them. It’s built for hunters who need a reliable tool that works season after season without fuss.
Henry H10 Protector Carbine

Four rounds of .45-70 should handle most problems. At 6.75 pounds, it’s light enough to carry but heavy enough to absorb some recoil. The walnut stock helps with that too. Adjustable sights get you on target fast, and the receiver accepts optics if needed. The .45-70 hits hard at close range—exactly what you want for predator control or serious defensive work. The threaded barrel adds versatility without compromising the lever gun’s reliability.

These carbines recoil mildly at around 6.6 pounds and shoot accurately at defensive distances. The pistol-grip stock helps with control during quick shooting. Blued finish and walnut furniture give it a traditional look with modern capability. Adjustable sights handle various lighting, and you can mount optics if preferred. Good for varmints, predators, or close-range defense work.
Henry H12 Provider Rifle
The H12 Provider maximizes pistol caliber performance with a 20-inch barrel and ten-round capacity. Available in .357 Magnum/.38 Special or .44 Remington Magnum/.44 Special, these rifles generate surprising velocity from handgun cartridges. Ten rounds handles running deer or multiple predators.

At seven pounds with minimal recoil, they’re easy to shoot accurately. The non-threaded barrel keeps weight forward for steady aim. Walnut stock provides secure handling. Good for hunters who need multiple quick shots or want reduced recoil without sacrificing effectiveness. The capacity advantage over rifle-caliber lever guns is significant.

Ruger American G2 Lineup Explodes
Ruger’s engineers are mashing the accelerator this year with even more versions of the G2 American Rifle.
Ruger American Patrol Carbine
The Patrol Carbine is just a taste of what’s to come. What the multiple iterations of this lineup have in common is a black spatter-finished stock and bull barrels.

Not surprising is the .308 Win and 5.56 NATO versions, but add to that a 6mm ARC and a couple of .338 ARC rifles to include a 12 ½-inch SBR model. Later this year, look for a 7mm PRC and .300 Win Mag offerings.
Ruger American G2 Prairie

At a glance, the G2 Prairie models feature fluted, bull contour cold hammer-forged barrels with a bronze Cerakoted metal finish. In addition to the standard fare of .223 Rem, .308 Win and 6.5 Creedmoor, these will be available in 22 ARC, .300 Win Mag and 7mm PCR. The .22 caliber models will utilize AR-pattern magazines, while the .308 and 6.5 Creed will feed from AI-pattern mags.
Ruger American G2 Scout
The Ruger American G2 Scout is a bolt-action carbine with forward scope mounting and backup irons is now available in a budget-grade G2 American.

These models come with an extended Picatinny rail for optics mounting, and a set of robust military-style iron sights. The .308 Win versions feed from AI-pattern mags, while the 5.56 NATO-chambered rifles feed from AR-pattern magazines. A 7.62×39 version feeds from standard AK magazines. There’s even a .350 Legend version.
Ruger M77 Hawkeye
Next year the Ruger M77 Hawkeye will celebrate its 20th anniversary, but this year marks several new models that might scratch an itch. I’ve been a fan of the .308 Win family of cartridges since I bought my first hunting rifle when I was a senior in high school. Lately, I’ve been shopping for a solid bolt gun in .358 Winchester, and Ruger has finally brought this great woods cartridge back into production in the M77 Hawkeye. With the proliferation of suppressors in the marketplace, this rifle tailored for their use. The barrel measures 16.10 inches and it comes threaded 11/16-24 TPI. The Hawkeye lineup comes fitted in a walnut stock, and this version can be had in either stainless or blued.

Eight new M77 Hawkeye models will be offered with threaded 16.1-inch barrels in several popular chamberings. There will even be a .450 Bushmaster offered in a limited quantity from Randy’s Hunter Center in Bad Axe, Michigan.
SDS Arms Offers Rem 700 Clone
