SHOT 2026: Optics Round Up

Guns are the focus of SHOT Show, but gun accessories run a close second. A good chunk of that is made up of optics, whether its binoculars for spotting game or enjoying nature, or scopes to mount on your rifles. Like with anything at SHOT, it’s impossible to see everything during the show but here are some highlights.

Apex Synergy 12x50mm Laser Rangefinder Binocular

Range finding binoculars are the thing this year. Let’s start with one from Apex. For premium compact performance, the new Frontier ED X series includes foldable 8x25mm ($429) and 10x25mm ($439) models built on lightweight magnesium-alloy frames. These pocket sized binoculars have waterproof and fog proof construction, twist-up eyecups, a padded carry case, and a padded neck strap. Unlike a lot of the new release things shown at SHOT, these are all available now.
